TOMORROW!!!! :)

i didn't fall asleep until 430am! and woke up at 930am. ugh! lol
i got my stuff at target. just got done eating breakfast. put the one load of laundry i need in. about to finish up packing the stuff from target that i left (lol).
then i need to get ready around 2 and at 330 paul is coming, we are going to o'hare to put everything in the room then eat at 5, then setup, then the first band starts at 8 if i'm not mistaken. it's going to be a loooooong night.
and tomorrow i leave and i cannot waaaaaaaaaaaaait :) :)

if only i could stay a year (or forever). that would be loverly.

last of everything.... so i thought!

just like last night, i'm so anxious but a good/excited anxious about haiti that i still am not asleep at almost 2am.

tonight i went to target to get the last of everything i needed. paid for everything. got home. went to finish packing everything and realized i left a bag there cuz i can't find a bag of the rest of the travel stuff and medicines and sunglasses (!!!) i got - including bug spray that is 40% deet! i called target and they said to just come in tomorrow with the receipt and tell them what i didn't get, so hopefully they don't give me any flack tomorrow when i go in! i should go to sleep, but my goal is to get my suitcase to 50 lbs or less then i will! ahhhhhh!

packing

i haven't posted all month because the only thing i could really post is the same thing: i'm excited!! lol and now it's almost time! i leave in 2 days! woo hooo!
i finally got home today from traveling to iowa for the holidays. luckily, chela came with me because it was rainy and my windshield wipers weren't working well! we went to target and i got a few more things i needed for the trip (batteries & kleenex & got 245 stickers for $1 a piece!) .
and the packing began.

i would say i made progress :)

Pretty much all my clothes are packed except the new socks/bras I need to wash & the clothes piled at the end of the suitcase I want to bring to give to them that I don’t wear anymore. Buuuut I need to check Delta to see how much another checked bag would be or if the mission would let me-i may end up mailing it. Anyhow tomorrow will be the fun/tricky part: getting all the food & water in there & keeping it within the weight limit & getting enough water/food. Hmmmmmmm

it's kind of weird going without eric only because i met him the first time i went and everytime after we planned our trips at the same time. and now i am going and he isn't and i know no one(besides grant but he may be pretty busy? idk). buuuuuuuuuuut i know i am not alone. God will be with me. He and i will get some much needed one on one time. i am excited/ready for that.

it just hit me

that i am going
and i am soo excited
you wouldn't be able to tell. cuz i'm still just sitting on the couch as i pretty much have been all day.
but i am really excited to see john and michdina and ferbinsky and everyone! it's going to be amazing to go back.
i just wanna scream :)
